Bill Bolt was forced to rediscover himself after a work related injury caused him to rethink his twenty year career as a carpenter. After fighting with workers compensation for care for his back he realized that he had little desire or the ability to go back to manual labor. He realized, after falling into a part time job for a game company, that he wanted to use his brain more. When he was at work at the game company he saw some of the most creative work come from some amazing artists and it drove him to look into the graphic design program at Lakeland Community College, of which he earned an Associate’s degree. He learned in his first semester that he loved Philosophy and using his brain for deep discussions. He felt at home in a learning environment, even though he had struggled with school as child. With one game design under his belt he plans to continue that love once he finishes his bachelor's degree at Cleveland State University.
